TWOC- Homemade Gifts

Here we go with week 5 of Red Writings 12 weeks of christmas!!!! WehEWWW!!! And this week is all about Homemade Gifts! This first goodie goodie is a lace candle jar made by Jennifer at Sweet Eye Candy Creations. When I saw this I knew it would make a great gift for the "mothers" in my family. So I will be making these for the women in my life. Isnt it just so sweet! This Clothespin Doll I made is for my daughter. I have always wanted to make these and I was estatic how she turned out. She will make a great decor piece on her dresser. She was not hard to make, so I made quite a few more.

Last but not least, I am making everyone new stockings this year! This one is Emma's! I used some vintage material i had lying around. The cuff and heel and toe i cut from her first bed sheet which was made of flannel. It is definatly a keepskae for her. I have had such fun making gifts for my family. I have always thought that it is better to recieve something handmade from a loved one. Is is silly to get teary eyed when your making something for a loved one? If it is then I am a silly girl :)
